PicFrames.co.uk are online retailers of picture frames & digital photo frames. They approached Meanbee looking to create a new store for their business using Magento as the foundation. This involved the development and integration of a picture framing design studio that enabled shoppers to experiment and visualise the perfect picture frame that is then manufactured to the their exact requirements.

This project proved to be challenging and rewarding with, what we believe, an industry first with Magento – integration with a live customisation tool, creating truly dynamic products on the fly through Magento’s attributes and custom pricing option.

We also modified Magento to use a truly single-page checkout, and we can confirm that this has increased conversion rates by more than 50%.

The technical challenge of working with third party developers coupled with the organisational challenge of being responsible for the overall integration in Magento has stimulated Meanbee, producing one of our most successful Magento work to date.
