CountryMun.com, a successful manufacturer and supplier of canine clothing and accessories based rural West Sussex, approached Meanbee with the intention of overhauling their outdated website with a fresh new look and implementing a demanding set of features to bring their business up to speed with the latest advancements in web technology.
Being Associate Partners with Varien on the Magento project, it was obvious that Magento had the base set of features and extensiability required for the project to be a success.
Along with the Royal Mail module on the community Magento Connect channel, it was necessary to develop a payment module, integrating Protx's VSP Server into Magento. The customer is redirected to the Protx site upon submission of an order. A comment is then added to the order, hidden from the customer, allowing the shop administrator to evaulate the payment status of an order without having to log into Protx. The funds are authorised, but not captured. The capturing is done manually by the administrator.
